J Balvin is Latest to Join Forces with McDonald’s for Celebrity Meal

After the success of McDonald’s partnership with rapper Travis Scott for his “Travis Scott Meal,” the fast food chain is now creating another celebrity meal. This time, it will be a  “J Balvin Meal” with Latin pop superstar J Balvin, according to CNN. It will feature all of the singer’s favorites, including a Big Mac, medium fries with ketchup, and an Oreo McFlurry.

“He’s always been a regular at McDonald’s restaurants during his concert tours, and now we’re excited to bring his go-to order to our menus across the U.S.,” Morgan Flatley, McDonald’s U.S. chief marketing officer, said of the singer in a statement.

J Balvin is now the third-most streamed artist in the world on Spotify with 56 million monthly listeners and has collaborated with artists, including Cardi B, Dua Lipa, and Bad Bunny. He also has 13 nominations for this year’s Latin Grammys, according to USA Today.

The new “J Balvin Meal” is scheduled to sell through Nov. 1 nationwide. The price of the meal varies depending on region; however, those who order the new meal on the McDonald’s app will receive the Oreo McFlurry for free. McDonald’s also said there will be more surprises rolled out in the next few weeks. The Travis Scott Meal, which included a Quarter Pounder with cheese, bacon and lettuce, a Sprite, and fries, was so popular that some restaurants ran out of the ingredients to make it.
