Ariana Grande Releases Presidential “Positions” Music Video

Ariana Grande leads the White House in her just-released music video, “Positions,” according to The Hollywood Reporter. Marking her first solo release since “thank u, next” last year, the superstar shows all the difficulties that can come with the demanding job of being commander-in-chief.

“Switching the positions for you/ Cooking in the kitchen and I’m in the bedroom/ I’m in the Olympics way I’m jumping through hoops/ Know my love infinite nothing I wouldn’t do/ That I won’t do, switching for,” she sings in the Dave Meyers-directed video.

The video is set in the White House, a timely nod to the presidential election, and the song shows off her signature vocals. She can also be seen leading a fashion forward crew of cabinet members in the video and resting her heels on the desk in the Oval Office. Grande just teased a new album to fans a week ago, according to Billboard.

“Positions” is the first single released from the forthcoming album, which is set to come out on October 30, according to CNN.

While Grande has not had a solo project since last year, in the interim she’s put out collaborations with other famous pop superstars, including “Rain on Me” with Lady Gaga, “boyfriend” with Social House, and “Stuck with U” with Justin Bieber. Grande also performed “7 rings” and “thank u, next” earlier this year at the 62nd Annual Grammy Awards.
