Boston Dynamics Robots Dance the Year Away

Boston Dynamics Robots Dance the Year Away

2020 was a wild year, to say the least, and there’s no better way to close it out than a video of the robots from Boston Dynamics — Atlas, Handle, and Spot the dog — performing a choreographed routine to “Do You Love Me?” by The Contours.

Back in 2018, the company posted a video of Spot dancing to “Uptown Funk,” and while that’s still extremely entertaining and skilled, it doesn’t hold a candle compared the moves the robots in 2020 are able to pull off.

The Boston Dynamics robots have kept busy during the pandemic as well — in Singapore, Spot was seen enforcing social distancing at parks and the team worked to test how Spot could monitor Covid-19 in hospitals in the Boston area.
