As part of Spotify\u2019s annual tradition, it just released its \u201c2020 Wrapped\u201d list of the top albums, tracks, playlists, podcasts, and artists streamed the most over the year, according to Variety<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Bad Bunny tops this year\u2019s list of the most streamed artists with more than 8.3 billion streams. He was followed by Drake and then J. Balvin. The late rapper Juice WRLD was No. 4 while The Weeknd placed fifth. Bad Bunny also had the most-streamed album worldwide, YHLQMDLG, with more than 3.3 billion streams.<\/p>\n

With more people working from home, Spotify expanded to more than 300 million listeners this year with a total of 144 million paid subscribers, according to CNET<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis year, Wrapped is about telling a story of gratitude and resilience,\u201d Spotify officials said, according to Rolling Stone<\/a>.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The Weeknd\u2019s chart-topping single, \u201cBlinding Lights,\u201d was the most-streamed song of 2020 with a whopping approximate 1.6 billion streams. The next most-streamed songs were Tones and I\u2019s \u201cDance Monkey\u201d and \u201cThe Box\u201d by Roddy Rich. Next, was \u201cRoses \u2013 Imanbek Remix\u201d by Imanbek and SAINt JHN. Dua Lipa\u2019s \u201cDon\u2019t Start Now\u201d came in at fifth place.<\/p>\n

Billie Eilish is the most streamed female artist of 2020 for the second consecutive year, followed by Taylor Swift, Ariana Grande, Dua Lipa, and Halsey. \u201cThe Joe Rogan Experience” was the most streamed podcast worldwide followed by “TED Talks Daily,” “The Daily,” “The Michelle Obama Podcast” and “Call Her Daddy.\u201d<\/p>\n
