Taylor Swift\u2019s eighth studio album,\u00a0folklore<\/em>,\u00a0made the No. 1 spot on Rolling Stone<\/i><\/a>\u2018s Year-End Top 200 Albums Chart. Swift\u2019s album raked in nearly 2.3 million album-equivalent units last year.<\/p>\n

folklore<\/em> beat out Lil Baby\u2019s sophomore album,\u00a0My Turn<\/em>. It came in second with 2.1 million album-equivalent-units, according to Yahoo News<\/a>.<\/p>\n

folklore<\/em> was a surprise album that dropped last July. The album broke records and had the biggest sales week of 2020. It also saw 1.1 billion on-demand audio streams and, with more than 1.2 million sales, was the highest-selling album of 2020.<\/p>\n

In addition, the album broke Rolling Stone\u2019s 200 record for the most consecutive weeks at number one. It spent six straight weeks at the top of the list. When Swift announced the release of folklore<\/em>,\u00a0she told her fans on Instagram it was a labor of love.<\/p>\n
